We have been here for 6 months and have to say the staff is very pleasant and can get you what you need any time of day. A nice quiet place to sleep with a nice forest view out your window in the back. It doesn't have a pool or by but that's ok for us. The rates are the best in the area.
No room service, it's a little out of view because of the bar 20, the beds are comfy, and the TV is small terrible quality and very quiet had some good channels.
I've stayed here a couple times now. All the rooms are impeccably clean and up to date. Nice flat screen TV, larger sized mini fridge, and a newer microwave. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions. Shenanigans is right across the street as well!
Decent hotel. Reasonably rates. This location offers a light continental breakfast. Pets allowed for an additional $10 per night. No smoking, vape sticks and e-cigarettes included. Location is clean and in close proximity to the highway, dining and shopping. Approximately 15 minutes away from the outlet mall in Michigan City. Would stay here again.
I honestly cannot understand the negative reviews I’ve read about this Super 8. I just spent 3 days there while I was having work done on my house and had a 5 Star experience. It was a great location minutes from my home, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, the other residents were friendly, and all for the lowest price in the area. If you feel more comfortable spending $100 + per night this isn’t for you. But if you’re a working man with old school values who just wants a safe, quiet and clean place to spend the night and just wants a good cup of coffee in the morning, not a grande mocha wet, this is your place.
Place was unexpectedly nice for the price. The online reviews didn't do it justice. Also me and my daughters missed breakfast and the receptionist went and got us some cinnamon rolls and apple juice. If I ever visit Indiana Dunes again I definitely plan on staying again
very friendly staff, big truck parking and bargain cdl rates, elevator!, typical breakfast of waffles, instant oatmeal, cold cereal, toast, yogurt, oj, aj and coffee, close enough to Gary, IN. oh, and across the street is Shenanigans with a live band on the weekends but get there early, they close at 11pm. I got a king bed room and it was plenty big. the room was clean and comfortable.
People keep complaining about so my expectations were set low but frankly speaking if you are looking for a Hilton type service in a $70 hotel, you need to look elsewhere. This place is worth what it is priced and I did not find any cleaning issues in room.
It's not the newest place but the room was clean and the staff was friendly & helpful. Price is good. Fridge & microwave in my room. The heating worked well. Plenty of parking for your truck and trailer out back. Nice and quiet also.
Absolutely one of the best Hotels I've stayed at. The wonderful woman behind the desk was super nice and funny :) The room was super clean. The bed was so nice to sleep on. All in all. 10/10. Will definitely stay again when I'm out here next!
